Competition Refresher Magazine The National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) has signed an MoU with the Ministry^,of Housing and Urban Affairs for providing skill training and employment opportunities to over 2.5 Iakh urban poor in the construction sector. Competition Refresher The collaboration under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana­National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) will also focus on alignment of skill training with industiy requirements, training unskilled manpower at construction sites and up-skill ing of workers so that they can increase the income and get benefited from the Government certification programme. The council will be responsible for the overall implementation, achievement of the targets and outcomes. It will provide full placement for the training batches and has committed to at least 70 per cent captive placement at Naredc6 partners sites. Also under the up-ski II ing training programmes, Naredco will ensure an increment of at least three per cent in the wages of the beneficiaries. Competition Refresher gk Training curriculum under this initiative will range from minimum 80 hours (10 days) to a maximum of. 6 months. Naredco will encourage the training of women beneficiaries under this initiative.
